This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Deborah Childress who was born in Kentucky on October 20, 1974 and passed away on May 16, 2005 at the age of 30. We will remember her forever. A simple phone call away was something I took for gran.
Sunday, 24 May 2009. I did it - and it was AMAZING! It was much harder than I expected, and much more treacherous! The wall you see in pictures is the bit that the tourists walk on. We mostly walked on broken bits of the wall, on paths with no sides, on overgrown paths that run alongside the wall and up through the forest.
In October of 2008 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which is the reason for this blog. This will enable me create a diary of my care, and it will help update family and friends of my progress.
